Start - Yarborough Arms pub, DN39 6TZ

    Turn left out of the car park, heading over the railway lines, turning first right on to Carr Lane.

    Quiet road with a country rail crossing after a sharp right. Continue left at the fork. Near the end, take a small right to reach Thornton Abbey and Gatehouse.

    At the T-junction, turn left and cross the Goxhill railway. Continue to the crossroads and turn right toward Goxhill. After a short distance, turn left at the next crossroads.

    At the end, turn left onto B1206 past Barrow. Take the 3rd left toward Thornton Curtis and Burnham. At the crossroads, turn right to Burnham, where you’ll spot a Colourful Cycle Route Marker.

    Continue through Burnham, go under the A15. At the end, turn left then immediately right. This road climbs to the North Lincs Wolds ridge, offering views of Worlaby and Brigg below.

    Go straight at the crossroads toward Worlaby. After a 90° left bend, give way at the junction and turn right. Descend into the village, then turn left at the junction and follow the sweeping right bend.

    Arriving at the bottom villages' road of the ridge. Turn left and head in the direction of Elsham Hall.

    If skipping Elsham Hall, turn left, then right into Elsham village. At the crossroads, turn left and continue past the church. At the top of the hill, turn left at the junction.

    At the 5-way junction, turn right, almost doubling back. Follow the quiet road under the A15 toward Wootton. Pass junctions and continue straight at the crossroads into Wootton, where you’ll find a peaceful village pond.

    Follow the road around the pond to the pub, turn right toward Ulceby (A1077). At the end, turn left, follow the S-bend and descend to the railway. After crossing, the Yarborough Arms is on the right.
