Normanby Park - Flixborough Trail

Start - Normanby Hall Car Park, DN15 9HU

   Leave the car park turn left following the road around the bend, cross the road before mini roundabout.

   Turn right head into Normanby village along the footpath until reaching Burton upon Stather, continue past the entrance to Wiltshire Avenue*, cross the main road.

   Turn left down Flixborough Road continue straight down steep hill on a rough track until reaching bottom.

   Turn left with Burton Woods on the left (this is part of the Trent valley way), follow this track until a way marker sign pointing left uphill into woods.

   At way marker turn left up steep hill through Burton Woods.

   Continue uphill to top where it meets the road, turn right, carefully walking along road or verge, continue into Flixborough village.

   Turn left passing Flixborough Inn, continue along this pavement past the church and out of the village with a playground on the right.

   At a waymarker turn left along a track, passing the police angling ponds, continue following this track around a few bends and past a wooded area.

   At a way marker turn right and continue to the road.

    Turn left and continue along narrow footpath to mini roundabout and return to Normanby Hall car park.
