Start - Haxey Church, High Street, DN9 2HY

    Leave the car park and return to Church Street. Turn right, cross road to footpath sign on left.

    Turn left along narrow footpath between houses until back lane.
  3. 3
    Turn right and continue until reaching road, The Nooking.
  4. 4
    Turn left and walk on pavement until reaching the end of the road at junction with A161
  5. 5
    Turn left for approx. 50 yards. Carefully cross A161 to wide track.
  6. 6
    Continue for approx. ¼ mile, along the track until reaching footpath junction.
  7. 7
    Turn left and continue along this footpath until reaching minor road.
  8. 8
    For convenient refreshment stop and views, turn right and continue just pass farm buildings to grassy area. If not turn left down the road.

    Return down the road and follow to centre of Low Burnham village. (Note. Do not take the first road junction to Left.)

    Turn left to reach A161 again.

    Carefully cross main road, heading slightly left to join track on opposite side.

    Follow this track for ½ mile approx. until reaching old railway line track.

    Turn left and continue along pleasant old railway line for about 1 mile until the track joins The Nooking road (Opposite Primary School).

    Turn right and follow out-going route back to Church Hall car park.
