Start - Blyton Village Hall Car Park, DN21 3JZ

    Leave the back of the Village hall car park on a signed public footpath passing the children's play area, continue straight ahead, through two metal gates until reach Paddock Lane, turn right down Paddock lane to reach main road.

    Cross road, turn left to reach bend in road.

    Turn right down Scarborough Road, continue straight ahead, becomes a signed public footpath track, continue downhill following the field edge until a wooden bridge, go over the wooden bridge.

    Turn right for approx 100 yards, then left down an unmarked track, head for Owlet Plantation Wood, long way down track.

    Enter Owlet plantation wood via a Stile on the right, keep to the left of a dyke following the edge of the wood.

    Exit via a wooden gate on the right, continue straight ahead following a woodland track.

    Turn left continuing on the track following the perimeter fence which will be on your right.

    Turn right still following perimeter fence

    Turn left still following the perimeter fence (obstruction of tree across track go around) continue along track to edge of plantation wood.

    Turn left, continue along track at edge of plantation wood, this turns into a wider winding track (Bird feeding station and memorial tree on left) (Ideal spot for lunch break).

    Continue on track to a wooden gate, go through and continue straight ahead until reaching a gravel track.

    Turn right on the gravel track ,continue to wooden gate to exit the plantation through a car park. Exit car park onto the road, turn right and careful walking on the road, follow the road past Cuckoo cottage and until road bends left.

    At bend continue straight ahead on wide track public bridleway sign, keeping Great Catchwater Drain on left, continue on this track for long distance until reaching a wooden bridge.

    Cross wooden bridge, turn right up the lane passing Sandbeck Farm on the right, continue up Lane back to Blyton and return to Village Hall car park via Church Lane .
