Start - At the church at the end of High Street, DN19 7AA

1Leave the church in a southerly direction along the High Street passing the market place on your left. (Inventor John Harrison statue).

2Turn right into Barton Lane following the high footpath/pavement rising steadily to a junction.

3Turn right into Ferry Road following the pavement on the right.

4At a Y junction cross Ferry Road East and take the road signed to Barrow Haven following the path to the right of the road. Near the Beck Bridge the path disappears, continue carefully past Castle House.

5Turn right into West Hann Lane.

6Turn right at a finger post along a headland path with a hedge on your right. Cross the footbridge over the Beck following the footpath in the same direction.

7Turn left at the end of the footpath into Cherry Lane.

8Turn first right into North Street and cross a road junction with the John Harrison School on the corner on your right. Continue along North Street towards the church.

9Cross the road and follow a short footpath to the right of the church which brings you back to your starting point.
