The Anchor Beefeater
A family-friendly steakhouse and pub offering great-value meals, including juicy steaks, classic pub favourites, and unlimited breakfasts, all served in a relaxed setting by the lakeside.
The Scunthorpe & District u3a has several interest groups which are individual organisations offering a wide range of interests and activities.
All interest groups have a leader who arranges the programme and secures a venue. Meetings take place in members homes or a commercial venue. If in a commercial venue it is usual for the members to pay a small fee by way of a contribution towards the cost. Some may also charge for refreshments. Each group will nominate a contact person who acts as a contact point for enquires.
Some interest groups will have a regular meeting day, perhaps every second Tuesday for example. Please contact us for further information on the groups you are interested in if the day/time are not listed here.
Please note that only full paid-up members of the u3a may join the Interest Groups.
