An opportunity to meet new people, advocate for yourself and others as well as talk and share experiences with other people 18+ that have the same or similar neuro-divergent diagnoses in a safe place.
Self-Advocacy is about having the confidence and ability to speak for yourself and what matters most to you. It aims to empower neurodivergent people by providing them with the right tools, information and support to take control of decisions that affect their lives. It ensures their voices are heard, valued and respected.
You are welcome to bring someone who supports to you to this group and stay for as little or as long as you would like.
Please note, the group is held on the first floor of Scunthorpe Library in room F02 (side room). Please ask a member of the library staff for help if you are struggling to find the room.
